If after the 2nd f23 you walk (plenty of time) and do 242, ex df 2 then 4 df 2 you will get 486.53, no jump in (jump ins seem to scale combos more)

@@HDK7 Yeah I have noticed it too, I have only practised with 2 chars so far, raiden my first shao second but both of them after a certain amount of damage the jump in scaled it a bit. I do not know if it is universal. MK11 had some hidden scaling too, shao specifically. I have asked a few people online, you are the first to confirm that it is not just me that has noticed it.

I, and most people use the Dpad to play, it allows for more precision on your inputs, so I would suggest using it

dpad is used by most, but do what feels comfortable for you. some people only play on arcade sticks. even with game pads people hold the controller in different ways. The "claw" comes to mind.

I kept having a guy do this to me online now I know where he got it. How do I deal with him if I block the first string and he is calling out Sareena? I kept getting hit by her stars and then he’d do the rest of the combo on me. If I blocked it would take FOREVER for an opening because of all the hits and kameo appearances and don’t get me started on chip damage

Assists in the game aren’t really used to cover you in this game like they are in other fighting games , they’re mainly used to continue combos, so it’s okay if it takes your whole assist meter

You have to press the 2 and the block button at the same time to enhance it, but you’ll need at least 1 bar of meter

Try switching your Block to R1 instead, it helped me A LOT with enhancing, way easier

Sareena does not need to be nerfed. In higher levels she gets beat out consistently by ducking, down 1 etc. she’s a scrub killer. But over time she will not be as effective
