As a kid I owned this game - and I sold it to get "SHAQ FU" (!!!) - a big mistake. I was a really dumb idiot back then... But '94 or '95, in medieval Austria, there was no way to test a game or watch a playthrough, just magazines and friends with their games, nobody of them owned "Shaq Fu", the screenshots in the magazines always looked nice and I was not disappointed by the rather bad gameplay ratings, I thought I make my own opinion from it, like I always make. And yes, it was BAD - I wanted my MK back, but no way... You (should) always learn from mistakes!

MK for Sega was awful nothing at all was like the arcade version of the game.the life bars,it doesn't say finish her,the monks in the background don't clap after a win,and there aren't even skeletons in the bottom of the pit on the spikes.

The old school Mortal Kombats (1,2,3,UMK3,MKT and maybe 4/Gold) are the best, timeless classics. The new MKs have lost the MK-typical atmosphere, they are just mediocre fighting games and nothing special - like the classic MKs still are.

He is good, because his thunder projectile is long (more difficult to avoid it) and ⬅️⬅️➡️ for his torpedo ist a rather fast combination to input (you can also start to input when you're still in the air), he has a wide uppercut and jump kick range (Johnny Cage has the shortest, for example) and the teleport is useful in certain situations, like escaping from the corner or avoid a jump attack.
