I love how Liu Kang is recruiting his friends. They're all like "wait why me?" and he has to give a vague reason. Because truly he knows who they are and what they can do. Johnny Cage is young again in this timeline so he's once again arrogant and kind of a dick, but Liu Kang remembers how noble and honorable Johnny was in the past timeline and hopes to bring that back out of him.

Johnny's real last name is Carlton while Cage is his stage name. After his wife left him, Johnny permanently changed his name to Cage. That's why Cassie's last name is legally Cage.

Might wanna wait until a fight starts for a new character before ending your play sessions, so you know you hit a checkpoint. Feels like you'll always have to rewatch cutscenes at the start otherwise.

I like how the first 9 minutes of this are just yall watching the cutscenes, not a complaint! they really outdid themselves on this its really just like a playable movie, which is awesome to me. Also love that Lissy got sound-cue jumpscared while talking about the score, perfect timing. Actually Lissy calling EVERYTHING about this is hilarious. I actually really love how they set up Johnny, like you know all the beats, the "he thinks this is a prank, hes an actor" stuff but its still fun to watch

Considering Kung Lao and Liu Kang were trained by Bo Rai Cho in the original timeline and now Madam Bo trained Raiden and Kung Lao, it seems like she is the new timeline’s Bo Rai Cho. She also has a lot of Bo Rai Cho’s personality and then some of her own traits. She’s super cool.

I actually recommend Dial of Destiny; it's not as good as Raiders and Last Crusade, but it's *way* more enjoyable than Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in many ways. It's a much more sincere sendoff to Indiana Jones and the pacing flies by before you know it. I know people weren't wild over his sidekick, but they had a fun dynamic; way better than Greaser LaBeouf. It goes to some silly places, but they're not dealbreakers; Jones has deal with weird crap in every movie as it is lol But it's a fun time if you're ever curious in watching it.

If you want to skip cutscenes you've already seen, you can always do that in the pause menu. Although I'm not sure it would've skipped the cutscene with Johnny Cage also 🤔

If you do it during the King Lao Chapter it would skip directly to Cage's but if it at the end then year it would skip to Kenshi tied up

I've heard mixed opinions about Dial of Destiny. On the one hand, the intro is the Indy we know and love, and it's great to have him along for one last ride. On the other hand, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character feels like a Kathleen Kennedy self-insert fanfiction and based on the leaks aboout the original ending, there were plans to retcon the entire franchise with her taking on the Indiana Jones moniker to remake the original 3 films...

Oh yes she was awful! So annoying and smug and with no actual real development to change her into a more likeable character that would have made the previous behavior acceptable as an arc. She was just consistently annoying throughout the whole movie. Or at least I heard. My family and I actually ended up seeing it by accident (my father bought the wrong tickets) and I was so bored that I actually fell asleep, the first time that ever happened when watching a movie. Woke up to the final act and well it definitely seemed like they set up the scenario for Phoebe’s character to replace Indy and then just resolved it like instantly.

I disagree about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, it is the last great fun Indiana Jones movie that has a real much better happy ending, where Indiana and Marion got married, and Shia LeBouf is not that bad, at least he did not become bossy or disrespecting his dad Indiana, James Bond movie Spectre has a similar happy ending, and i liked Spectre thats my favorite of the 007 films, i dont care if some people do not like it . Dial of Destiny is CRAP. Period.
