They thought she was responsible for Jerrod’s death I wouldn’t be exactly polite to someone negligently had my dad or step dad even for that matter killed cause now this person is gone now because you did something stupid and now we’re suffering from it that’s how I’d look at it cause she was good friends with both Sindel and Jerrod I’m also pretty sure when Kitana and Mileena were younger she was they’re kombat instructor cause she was pretty much where Tanya was when Li Mei was Umgadi

I love how Li Mei went from being a plucky, hot-blooded and rebellious martial arts student who dressed in kolorful and revealing outfits In Deadly Alliance, to being a stoic, reserved, konservatively dressed middle-aged kop wearing desaturated kolors in M1K. As someone who's somehow now in his 30's, I kan konfirm that's realistic kharacter development, and I'm starting to go through that kharacter arc 😂

Li Mei is always providing good alignments. Who says MK1 socks? Thanks to Liu Kang, the new timeline was supposed to be better, yet Shang Tsung intervened making his timeline be half worsened. I bet Li Mei had a rough life when Raiden had tried to do better before Krony played the timeline bad.

To get close to Sindel, there's no better way to usurp the throne of an empire than from inside and while being trusted by the ruler themself, which also allowed Shang Tsung to come into contact with General Shao to entice him to betray Sindel.
