Yes but normally you can jump it or at least not get comboed from it. These setups guarantee that you can't escape the attack and usually get comboed.

If it’s close and round three and you been waking up notmally all game and then suddenly delay wake up and punish with a combo it can give you the game , or vice versa always delay then suddenly don’t. It’s really just case by case. But it’s def good to know

Kitana Jax n the corner is dangerous, but why I prefer sub is I immediately have projectile immunity with reg some of the best zoning in the game if I want to. But the real danger of it is if 2,4,1,2 hits and I have 1/2 kameo bar and no meter it’s probably the easiest 42% damage in the game because the freeze allows you to set up the far wind bomb and do a 3 hit combo into it and its 100% guaranteed. Like literally it’s a 5/10 difficulty combo if that. That said Kitana is most dangerous if you can whiff punish, upblock, flawless block or have good defense if you don’t kitana Jax is a great and scary duo to deal with. Good vid!

Kitana is one of the characters I play the most and I use her with Jax. I love their synergy cuz I can use Jax for combos AND for all of these nasty setups. I’ve been cooking people for a while with this stuff.

If you want to spend meter, I think the enhanced square wave allows Kitana to cancel into another aerial special move.

Most of the time when I set up the fan vortex in the corner, the combo scales super bad cuz it starts with a throw that goes into the fan lift vortex thing. There’s been two times out of like 50 where the combo doesn’t scale and I get damn near 40% after getting a regular 30% that leads into the max back breaker that starts the vortex grab..

I was in training mode trying the first "unblockeable" and I realized if the opponent is bloking low the hole string only jax will hit the opponent but the fan will not , if is bloking high it works also the opponent can jump over you and jax and will not be affected

If im not mistaken, doesnt crouch blocking always cause jax groundpound to hit you to the floor? So cant you just always hold crouch block and guarantee you only take 5%? Also secondly, when you hit a kameo you normally do 2% unless you uppercut them in which case it does 5 or 6%. However when jax is going for his unblockable if he is hit you will take 5% and uppercuts make him take like 9 or 10%. This means if your opponent armors you will take pretty significant damage, and if they somehow squeeze an uppercut in, you will take close to 20-25% if it hits Kitana and Jax

Just lab the game, and you’ll find out that you can save yourself from the setups. Kitana-Jax is far from being broken. There are cheaper characters on the roster. Anyway, buff Kitana. She needs buffs.

if the opponent blocks low the setup with the 2412 string just doesn’t work💀 Kitana has NO overheads only one at the end of a string so the opponent will block low all the time so it isn’t overpowered or unfair at all all you have to do to counter it is just block low
