If the fan is going to hit first, just block... grabs will not connect if you're in a blocking stance. That being said, good luck working out which one will hit first in the heat of the moment. It truly is way too much. She doesn't even get that level of OP projectile in KOF or FF.

AS with all other shit in this game, just parry it or perfect parry it. Be sure to drive rush into combo into super also, since there is no other thing these fucking characters do in SF6 any more. Remember this cheat code: Drive rush, sweep, drive rush, sweep, drive rush, throw, drive rush, combo, super. You will be Master in 2 days.

As a KOF player, I checked the video to see if Mai was good (haven't been playing SF for a while). I don't know if it's Daigo's style which is boring, of just the game that is boring but damn... No jumping, incessant grab, this looks so lame compared to KOF Mai..

KOF and street fighter are different games. You can't jump as much in SF as you can in KOF. You don't have as many jump angles, so committing to the air will just get you anti-aired if you do it willy nilly.

If you watch pros in SF6, they rarely jump because it's quite easy to anti-air you. Also, Daigo's playstyle could be a bit boring especially when he tries a new character.

Mai is going to end up pretty bad. No + on block normals. Uncharged fan is meme level awful. All of her charged fan setups are likely easily countered and will be figured out.

I think the idea being all the shitty buttons are because the fans are integral to her pressure, heavy charge fan is for people who parry a lot, just run up and grab. Medium Charge fan for mixups if an opp is holding down back, and light charge fan for spammers

This game has already dumped its foot into politics by not allowing you to select male or female in the character creation. And i guarantee characters like Mena? (the buff chick) were created out of some regulation rather than taste. People dont understand but their are actual RULES that companies have to go through in order to get their games out the door and its usually based on the number of minority characters and women that are in a certain role and place. Its pretty disgusting and its one of the reasons i have a hard time going back and playing. So you may not care, but I care about giving my money to this farce. Its all meant to attack white people and normal, straight people in general. Which is pretty bigoted rhetoric if you havent noticed.
