Yeah he used the rifle during the battle against the Cain-borg in the 2nd film. There was a rifle in the 1st film but he never used it though Ray Wise did get blown to smithereens by one in the steel mill shootout.

That specific gun that Robocop is using is primarily from the first movie. It's the high powered rifle that Clarence Boddicker and his crew try to use to destroy Robocop at the industrial factory. It's also the same gun Robocop uses to destroy Ed-209 towards the last couple of scenes. It's very briefly used in Robocop 2 when he's fighting the RoboCain.

Yea the big gun Robocop had was from the First and Second Robocop movie, its the gun that bad guys in the first movie were trying to use to kill Robocop towards the end of the movie and in Robocop 2, Robocop uses the same gun to try to kill Cain/Robocop 2....it had military armor piercing rounds

i know its beem answered but yeah robocop used that rifle on kain in robocop 2 which is my favorite robocop movie as well :) i already pre ordered the $50 version with the kombat pack sense i never bought any of the other addons...which i guess im kinda glad i waited cause its cheaper this way....if i bought all dlc characters by them selves that like 36-38 bucks after tax not counting all the costumes it gives you.
