Sad but true. Game of Thrones will always be my all-time favorite show ever & it will always be the greatest show period, for those first 7 seasons GofTs was simply epic perfection and than those 2 greedy lazy-ass frauds went & blatantly sabotaged the entire endgame just because they were in such a dam hurry to go wreck Star Wars next!!! At least we still got the last 2 books to give us hope for a true ending to the saga but the S#8 trainwreck will always hurt big-time :(

It was slow and both 5 and 6 had its great moments, but the narrative and the characters started to stray a little. By Season 7, it was 50/50, shades of good, shades of bad. By Season 8, it all went down the gutter. (a shame, since I feel tge first two Episodes were amazing) This is all just my opinion, though.

The first seven games are the 'original' timeline, 8 is some weird mistake, and 9 through 11 are the present. All of it is a singular, and mostly, cohesive narrative ftom one to the next with any discrepancies between individual titles easily being expkained away as a unique timeline down the ladder of the overarching main narrative/story mode.

I always loved when Liu becomes a god thanks to Raiden, given Raiden knew why Kronika had always pitted them against each other in her past efforts across the timestream because of the fear of their powers united, and that he knew that giving Liu the powers of a god would allow him to be a singularity, so that he could be able to not just save himself BUT also to know what Kronika's plans were from his Revenant counterpart and upping his power to be able to face her off. It just is nuts how creative Raiden had to be here, and learning from the mistakes his dark self from the beginning didn't see in his arrogance from Kronika's influence through Shinnok's amulet, or the many mistakes he made before his corruption.

We all know that the character all NRS team hate is only Hsu Hao. At least NRS has balls to to this dramatic change to Liu Kang's lore instead of Capcom who just don't know how to develop their main hero - yea I'm talking about Ryu from SF. He just do the same stuff every game. From hero to villain to God now...that is something we probably won't see happening to Ryu. Even Namco do a great job to Jin Kazama as well. Plus if MK is all about the character they love got shine, then Scorpion would have been the main hero because Ed Boon loves him. But nope, Ed Boon never made Scorpion as the hero because that is not is his intention. He just a mascot, poster boy, that all. When Liu Kang is not a hero, they create new main hero like Shujinko, Taven and Cassie. Only Raiden, the existing character got a chance to be a hero for while, and make sense because Liu Kang and Raiden are always the key character from the start. It was ironic that it was both of them who put an end to this last era in MK11.

I believe the next MK will feature an entirely new storyline never been seen. I don't think we gonna get another MK1 event. Is redundant already. MK11 make a point wanted to end everything so that NRS can start a fresh new thing next, no more rely on their trilogy event. I feel like we may get to see Liu Kang and Kitana's son in the next game. He probably be the new main protagonist. Liu Kang on the other hand is still gonna be the main protagonist as well, because it obvious that the next main threat will be a Titans. Kitana state - "new evil will arise". No more sorcerer, outwolder, demon or god coz Liu Kang now can whoop their ass pretty easy (I mean he already done it with his mortal form, his God form will be too OP now). With Liu Kang's current strength now, make sense for the next threat to be at least a Titan level.

Okay so this is the rundown for anyone who still doesn't understand. At 18:56 or so Raiden explains it. The new MK1 timeline itself (with young scorpion/Sub Zero) is the reboot.. but the fact THAT this new timeline exists in the first place and the fact that LK is still fire god in it, is a direct reference to the events of MK11. So yeah it's still MK12, they're just playing into the events of the new story by calling it MK1. Albeit things could SERIOUSLY change by the end of the campaign- or they could be sneaky and end put a 2 beside the 1 when the story's end credits roll. We'll see soon enough.

I’m proud of Netherrealm. It felt like I just watched Infinity War in MK. They redeemed and developed the OG characters really well *Spoilers* Liu Kang became a god Kung Lao is still an overconfident, arrogant prick with more potential. He’s awesome, but I don’t really him as being non-humble. And being in Liu Kang’s shadow. Kitana killed Kotal Kahn, avenging her people Jade has more of a story and has a love interest of her own that I support Raiden saved the man he called son, and passed the torch to him Sonya is no longer a bitch, but sadly she’s gone. But we still have her past self to fill the void. Jax is no longer lying in his own depression. And his past and future self were made better because of their love for Jacqui. Johnny has his moments in MKX. But I’ve noticed he’s become more mature and caring than he was before. And taught his past self respect. Scorpion is no longer driven by anger, and has restored his honor and became allies with Sub-Zero. Sadly he’s gone, but his past self will carry on his will. Sub-Zero doesn’t need redemption, he’s been consistently badass and honorable throughout the new timeline. Noob Saibot is just badass, he seems to have a more awesome design. Design wise, he was “redeemed” Not like he really needed it. Kano is...well he’s Kano. Kabal is still sadly a background character, he has no story or development yet. Baraka my boy Baraka is the most developed character in this game. From Shao Kahn’s savage lackey. To the Chief of civilized Tarkatans. He has a code of honor, he listens to reason, he respects strong fighters, and cares about his people. He became a leader, a badass one, and his presence was known. *Thank you Neatherealm.*
