@@Akain777 eh, gonna disagree. I'm of the opinion that race swaps are kind of a bad thing. I keep hearing 'Oh the race doesn't matter, why do you have a problem with it?' And to that I say 'If the race doesn't matter, why does it need a change?' as well as 'I think it does. The character was established as a certain race and character and such. The character should stay the same. All of the 'Kitana model lookalikes' were established early on in the series as light skinned asian. So why is she different to the point of having the hood on, and portrayed as either Indian or middle eastern or something along those lines to the point of even hinting at following their religion with the hood, but not so much the face mask and such? In fact I think the reason they removed the face mask is so that they could specifically said 'It's not hiding her face, so it's not portraying that religion.' But bro, in all other MK's she wears a fuckin' ninja mask. They outright made a full design change for the shit of it. It's just really stupid, especially if people think race matters. THAT ALL BEING SAID I won't lie, whoever she's modelled after? Yeah, hot. I just REALLY don't think the character should've been changed.

@@rednova2212dude, jade has always been a black edenian, just like kitana has always been an Asian edenian. Nothing has changed except their clothes. The model they used for mk11 is black and NRS featured jade for a black history month, appreciation post.
