@@xxplick Well, in the previous time line, ShangTsung and Quan Chi formed the Deadly Alliance to kill Shao Khan and Lui Kang. It devolved into a final battle between the the two sorcerers and Raiden. Raiden was defeated, but then the two turned on each other. Onaga awoke, and in desperation, Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Raiden untied their power to stop him, but they barely even annoyed him. Hell, even Shao Khan resorted to poisoning Onaga because even he was afraid to fight him one on one. Point being, Onaga is one of the biggest threats to the Realms and waking him up is something even the other villains would want to avoid.

His father, too - 'sonuvabitch had it coming.' Makes me wonder at what age he shot him. The way Erron speaks of his mother in the present tense makes it sound like she's still alive and giving hell. But then one of his intros with Cassie also from MK11 makes it sound like his mother's been dead for a long time. 'My Ma would've loved you,' Cassie's reply 'Aww, sounds like you miss her bunches' followed up by Erron's 'I hated Ma.' Erron's change of tense when talking about his mother is odd - unless the exchange with Shang Tsung is meant jokingly, i.e. Erron can't get a break from his mother even in death - which I prefer as he's still the supernaturally long-lived Old West gunslinger instead of some modern day marksman.
