I still remember the first time I met Kintaro... oh the wtf horror I felt.

Thank you, this strategy worked. I used XPADDER to make 1 button be "L,L,HP" and another button "F,F,HP" and put it on turbo. I also put the normal HP button on turbo. This way, I can hold 1 button to repeatedly attempt to fan wave, depending on which side i am on, and then to uppercut, I jump in, hold down, then hold the (turbo) HP button to insure I don't fail to make the uppercut.

When I was a kid, I discovered an easy way to beat Shao Kahn in MK2 (arcade, SNES and Genesis) with all the characters. And it still works!! Just push low kick when Kahn is near; if he blocks, his energy equally goes down. It's easier to do with long reach characters, like Jax and Liu Kang, but works with all.

@DoomMaster307 lol so was I. I thought I was the only one! Funny thing is, I played it again as an adult, and went with the "jump kick" and uppercut strategy, and defeated them both first try with little problems. Amazing what intimidation does to you when you are a kid.

Kintaro got easy only after the arcade patch. Before the patch Kitanas fan wouldn't lift him off the ground, it would only push him back and after the fan animation he would fireball your face. Kintaro was the hardest boss pre-patch.

the thing about MK is dat other then street fighter or tekken, the final boss just falls and they give u a chessy ending and game over,..in mortal kombat the screen blows up in ur face and the boss explodes while epic music plays

Here are a few Kitana combos that I know: When in the center:Use Fan Lift, if it hits, do a jump kick, and then throw the fan When your opponent is in the corner: Just like the previous combo, but do an uppercut after throwing the fan

Ermac never existed, it was just a urban legend about a red ninja that would appear if you played the Megadrive game long enough, originated by the fact that the both first and second MK DID have secret characters (Reptile in the first game and Noob Saibot and Jade in the second one). Midway liked the idea and included a red ninja in the following games. The legend said that a "Error Macro" message would appea on screen, so Midway called him ER(ror)MAC(ro).

the best way to beat kintaro is to use katana and kick him and throw your fan at the same time. It takes a ton of energy away

i first beat this game with mileena the second time I try to beat it with some one else i was trying to get past kintaro so i picked kitana (cant block her fan levitate) and one against him being lazy i didnt try to change my character and shazam i beat it with kitana
