Because with the time and graphics they have nowadays , it should've been way better ..the producers/directors should get with the game developers on story .. and they messed up the 1st movie starting wit Cole Young as the main protagonist

Imo the movie was great until the earthrelmers met each other to train that’s when the movie went down hill. The actors and actresses were great, special effects could have been better, Cole Young abilities seemed meh and Lui Kang was trash unfortunately.

I think this film will go through reshoots because it needs to add these 6 characters: Kuai Liang, Sektor, Ermac, Rain, Smoke and Cyrax, and I also think the trailer will come out this year, as the film opens in cinemas in January 2025

Well being that I'm pretty sure Scorpion is going to have a very minor role in the 2nd film..hopefully that'll be part of the story for a 3rd movie..and then mostly be about the Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei and by the end Kuai Liang (Sub-Zero) and Hanzo (Scorpion) squash their beef and go up against the Cyber Initiative and or Bi-Han (Noob Saibot) and They need to introduce human Smoke and Frost as well

There is plenty of lore to go off of and since they kinda already started from the actual story with Cole Young...they should be able to even come up with a story that is both faithful of the real MK games and comics and add their own twists as long as they make sense and don't ruin what's already been established!

Love Urban but don't know if he is Cage. He has has a similar sarcastic side but don't know if he's cocky like that. Even when he was in Riddick I don't see Cage.

I for real can’t think of a role that Karl Urban wasn’t great in… LoTR, Star Trek, Dredd, The Boys. His range is wild, I’m not worried at all.

Cole has been the vessel thats used to question the dangers of outworld. He has exceeded his usefulness. His only purpose now should be for pure shock value. He should definitely be on the receiving end of the first fatality, either from Shao Kahn or Quan Chi.

Not sure why anyone is discussing about a movie that doesn't even have a teaser ,other movies have trailers and teasers and I get being patient but I think it would have been better to announce that the film has wrapped after seeing a trailer that way fans can see what was put together all this time and still not sure how they will cram 27 fights that will be 3-5 minutes long in a movie less than 2 hrs unless they will extend the movie but they still have a few more weeks In this month to show a teaser and yeah I know the movie will release next year but at least we should get a teaser this month and a full trailer by late August or September

1st & foremost the MK brand is iconic & they need a bigger budget (like a marvel movie budget) They need better writers, & a better cast...Scorpion & Sub Zero actors were dope but the rest can go....they need strong actors to play Liu Kang, Cage, Jax & Raiden....Honestly they need a better director

Revisionist history much? Johnny Cage as the main character of the MK franchise? Dude Liu Kang was the main character of the franchise, Johnny was only important in MKX. If anything MK2 should focus on giving Liu Kang a bigger role as champion of Earthrealm like the earlier games.

Wasted a perfectly chance of actually being a good first movie. Cole Young, why ?? Wasted time on that. Also the lies of this will be some of the greatest fights ever. Not falling for it twice.
