I got this game from my uncle 14 years ago when I was 6. I remember always getting scared because of the intro, fatalities, dark battlegrounds and music but still loved the game. I always chose scorpion and still use him as my main in the new games. Good times.

I don't get why NRS just refuse to rerelease the 3D Trilogy. It'll be easy money for less effort than developing a full-blown game. They always reference them at points in the reboot games, even showing gameplay footage of them in Arcade-themed stages, so there's clearly no copyright issues to be had.
