Be aware raiden became dark evil and much stronger by absorbing Shinnoks power yet again as he did in mkx ending mk11 intro but it wasn’t enough alone, The deadly alliance and dark raiden went on a quest to weaken Shinnok putting raiden on a level playing field with Shinnok finally allowing them to hopefully win….raiden revealed he can and does absorb the bone temples energy which only further enhanced his power The bone temple is what Shinnok was going to use to transcend his current power level as full elder god in order to destroy The realms from the nexus But bcuz they went on a mission to permanently weaken Shinnok he couldn’t absorb that power either rather raiden absorbed that power and with the addition of weakniny Shinnok and having already attained shinnoks power when he became dark raiden it’s what allowed raiden to finally defeat Shinnok as dark raiden so easily here because Shinnok was weakened…..had he not been weakened it might not have been enough. Raiden absorbed the bone temples power and shinnoks power and weakened Shinnok so all that combined is what allowed raiden to triumph over a full elder god

The scorpion story is sad. Man tries to raise a family, which he then finds his clan members and family killed, by a man in blue called sub zero (not actual sub zero) Which then gets killed sub zero, gets sent to the netherealm quan chi says he can bring him and his family back if he kills sub zero WHICH then turns out was an innocent man and wasnt involved in the slaughter at all, which then kaui liang is obviously pissed this guy just killed his older brother So now we got fire and ice wanting vengeance Yeah him killing quan chi in mkx was badass Still hate that devorah killed my boi scorpion

Dark Raiden brutally defeating Shinnok makes much more sense than trying to convince us that a spoiled brat from LA is capable of fighting an entity who possesses billions of years worth of knowledge. Raiden absorbed shinnoks power as he had in mkx ending and mk11 intro here in onslaught to become dark raiden and also become much stronger…. Ppl forget that dark raiden only tortured shinnok in mkx mk11 bcuz he held shinnoks own power to do so without it he can’t normally hurt shinnok….that alone wasn’t enough shinnok was an elder god again and had possession of all living beings in all realms even sindel Shaonkahn were his loyal servants and the deadly alliance and raiden went on a mission to weaken shinnok and on top of that dark raiden revealed bcuz of absorbing shinnoks power and evil which made raiden far stronger,he was able to absorb the bone tenpl r power to make dark raiden much stronger and they weakened shinnok. The deadly alliance and dark raiden went on a quest to weaken the elder god and this all combined was what allowed raiden to defeat shinnok The power hof whsorb e from shinnok himself wasn’t enough alone and weakening shinnok allowed dark raiden to be on level playing field but as he’s facing shinnok dark raiden absorbed the bone temples power giving raiden a second big power boost and all this is what allowed dark raiden to best him as badly as he did Had dark raiden faced shinnok at full power he would’ve still lost Weakning shinnok would allow raiden to face him on a level playing field but absorbing the bone temples energy IN ADDITION TO ABSORBING SHINNOKS OWN POWER AND WEAKNING SHINNOK is what put the nail in the coffin for shinnok here Dark raiden didn’t face full power Shinnok anymore he was already weakned In the final cutscene and raiden even stronger than when dark raiden first reappeared here

Well he had to be defeated in the end. Even now it took Dark Raiden who got amped by absorbing Shinnok's power in the amulet and then deadly alience draining the soul crystals to weaken Shinnok again for Raiden to finally beat him in the end. Also Shinnok had everyone under his control. Sindel,Shao Kahn,bad guys,good guys. He gained his credibiliy and this is his best defeat.
