I want to point out that Mortal Kombat Trilogy was originally released on PC on DOS and Windows in 1997. This is a re release for modern Windows and was enhanced for modern controllers. Now only if GOG could fix Mortal Kombat 4.

@@Binary_Deviant This is why I use an 8bitdo M30 to play it, cause the d pad on that can be set to analog stick. As can pretty much any arcade stick. That's the best workaround believe me.

@@GeorgeCen actually this is the windows version, with Cuban Raul's patch you can restore the DOS version, well if you apply the Cuban Raul's patch both Windows and DOS versions become nearly bug free and very smooth to play

I mean, I'm about to agree with the whole loading argument, esp after owning the N64 version in the 90's and later in the 2000's, purchasing a PS1 and mkt (and other classics lol)... The loading to this day is just... Holy shit. BUT, based on this video, the PS1 retains CD quality audio (obviously). Whyyyyyy, in 2022, can't this new PC port include the music/soundfx in any lossless codec is beyond me. That's a huge bummer.

MKT on PS1 was not the gold-standard, each port had its issues, sure PS1 had more characters and a better OST, but if your CD got just a tiny bit scratched you're done, lets not talk about Shang Tsung lol I personally had the PS1 version but me and friends preferred the N64 version as they were no loading times.

PS1 Greatest Hits is the best version to go with. You have additional sounds, extra animations (Dead Pool, Wasteland, etc), better quality audio and smoother gameplay.

@@toljanchiman What is a fake? 🤔🤔 you can *clearly see* more detail and colours on the waist and black parts of ninjas (smoke in this case) has more light and grey and skin colours over the ps version. And all the missing sounds and stages and missing stuff are all included in all the PC versions.

@@toljanchiman compare it with other ninjas that doesn't have smoke. On every ninja ps version completes skin colours with tones of gray, and some outfit colours are missing from the pallette. Not so noticeable on PC versions. But hey! It's out there, just need to look at it. 🤷🏼‍♂️ peace! ✌🏼

Nah. PS1 always was the worse with the Saturn version. N64 was way better despite having less characters. PC version is the best and now ia easy to acquire (GoG). Before you can only pirate it to playing it officially.
