Mortal Kombat X Raiden Thunder God Low and Mid Option Selects

The first part of the video is for the Thunder God variation and shows an option select for his 5frame mid starter so you can get a grounded combo with better damage rather than an air combo. On hit the EX Shocker comes out and on block the rest of the string is finished which is safe on block.
You do this by inputing F12~EXDF2~B2
So you are canceling the shocker with the back 2 of the string. This works because when a string hits the special move comes out fast but when a string is blocked it takes longer for the special to come out so you have a small window where you can cancel the special on block but it would have already come out if the string had hit.
The second part of the video shows his low starter option selecting between shocker and exshocker. The standard shocker is only minus 7 with push back which can only be punished by 5 frame normals or 6 frame specials on reversal. Again this is better than using the full string and getting a low damage combo when it lands.
This one is done by inputing B33~DF123
Press the 123 all at the same time. You don't need to press the EX button, it will EX automatically on hit.
With some practice on the timing these work every time and are super useful, there are a lot of these to find for every character.
