hmmmm..... well thank-you for your input as well! I do have to disagree though... when people travel hundreds and thousands of miles to see him! I would say he is quite popular.... His shows bring thousands of people from around the WORLD, and I have been to several! Him and the rest of his band... M4TP, do not seem to be pissing us "hippies" off! haha They have always sang about love and understanding, movements and change, and not being afraid to stand up and be proud of who you are! etc...

tina that's not really something you can disagree with me on... i'm not saying you're one of the pissed hippies :) but let me assure you that plenty of his fans have at least a little "shit" to talk due to his newfound surge in popularity and the transition of his music from folk to rock. so you see, it is only natural that nahko and mftp would change how they operate and, for instance, sign with a major record label (which he has already done and is utilizing quite well, you'll notice). they're finally gaining the ability to reach massive numbers of people with such a blessed message! (someone recently told me nahko "sold out"- but i am pretty sure that "selling out" implies a goal of making personal profit as opposed to a goal of spreading musical medicine to as many people as possible)

He's only human, not all musicians are able to deliver amazing interviews. Doesn't mean that their music can't touch the heart and soul of many people all over the world myself included. In fact many musicians find giving interviews tricky, as they can have a tendency to be musically creative rather than verbally creative. Personally I love the sound of his voice and the way he takes the time to respond in an authentic to way, to every question thrown at him by reporters. He takes the time to think about his responses, I find that that authenticity makes him interesting but this, of course, is only my personal opinion. 😀
