I was blessed with the trivium and quadravium. Learned the east too. Humanitas has served me well.

Thank you for posting this. I've recently begun researching his life and work after being introduced to the concepts of the classical liberal arts. He's fast becoming one of my favorite people to learn from. With the exception of his advocacy of world government (or statism in general really), I find most of his views agreeable or at least reasonable.

It appears that people aren’t understanding the definitions of the words he is using… there is our perception of reality and there is what is actually there, what is in actuality is what he is calling the truth.

Hi! Would it be a problem if I translated this video into Portuguese and uploaded it on my channel? I have a project of spreading Mortimer Adler's methods in Brazil =)

You can buy all 6 episodes on DVD from The Center for the Study of the Great Ideas in Chicago. Cost is around $100, and they are essentially low-fi bootlegs. But they are available.

This statement is sufficiently vague enough to have no immediately ascertainable singular meaning.

The truth is that truth doesn't exist, and that is the truth. You can't argue with that. No really, you can't. Just walk away. Unfortunately this is why the postmodernist wins.

To assert "truth doesn't exist" is self-refuting then.
