+John Heisz Thank you very much, John. I stole your "slide in clips from the side" idea on this one so I put your website on the wall in one of them. Took quite a while to figure out how to do that. Do you use a plugin for your editor or just specify the movement?

Bravo Sir! You have been studying and practicing and progressing as a craftsman. Your attention to grain orientation, especially rift-sawn glue-ups for the legs, shows you're getting into elite category. I like your "shroud" idea for tenons too! Clever! The elegant results speak for themselves, although I have no doubt you will continue to evolve. It's a great pleasure watching you grow and succeed. Best Wishes!

Jay, nice project! Love the use of the "br-eye" wax. :) But I have to say it never ceases to amaze me when someone like yourself takes the time and energy to build a project, film it, edit it and put it out there at no cost to the viewer and the only comment some idiot can make is about a light switch, a floor transition or a air return in the background! This is why I love my dog, she never makes stupid comments like that. Keep up the good work!!

+Jay Bates mortise and tenon is easy! Just saying that the way you teach it makes it very simple. Most people don't use the same shoulder depth on all fours sides. A lot of the time you see a different shoulder depth on the longs shoulders than the short shoulders.

Great video, great build. I loved that you first did it in Sketchup, that's what I usually do. Your work is getting better and better Jay. Pedro.
