Oh that was your story! That sounds terrifying! But I may be able to give you some insight into what you may have seen, I'm in a coven of witches so we do witch shit. I'm one of the younger ones so I also believe in science n shit.(Im a witch not a Satanist)👍 Not everything is Hocus pocus but some is. I believe what you may have encountered was a demon. Not just any demon it's called the "crash demon" or "crash demons" I read about it in one of the many books in the leaders library/store. I know this sounds nuts because it is, I don't know if this thing is real or not But I believe in your story and something paranormal maybe. I don't have a confirmed answer for you because I was not there but I just thought I'd share the info I know. But I only think this because you said it was around 3am, which is when this thing comes out. Because you are a calm driver and have a strong will it had no effect on you. If you ever see it again slow down and ignore it. I hope the best for you.🥰 I also hope no one makes fun of me, I do understand everything I just said is crazy. 😵And I just say ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. 🦭 It also could of been something completely different like some mutant animal or even a person. But in the book I read the demons description is described as "a lanky grayish figure, with an incredible amount of speed" I don't remember what the book said about its face though I'll have to go look for that book again.

What a perfect night for cryptid stories as we had some big storms roll through southern Illinois this evening and there is a widespread power outage. The wife and kids are all sleeping and i am sitting here in the dark living room listening to the crickets sing and MM.... Well the power came back on for 10 minutes and then went off again for 8 more hours! That totally sucked to say the least, the only good thing is my wife didn't go to work today as she couldn't get ready in the dark.... I see a couple of naps in my lineup today because 43 is closer to 50 than it is 30 😂😂😂

MM, love these stories. Over at Swamp Dweller channel, a hunter called Sam White Owl, started sharing stories of the cryptid he hunts. If I recall correctly, the tall pale lanky cryptid that people see is called a crawler, which lives in the caves. They are harmless and won't bother you if you stay away from them when you see them. For more precise info, check that channel.
