How do you insure that there won't be an air pocket /void right under the concrete encased section after pouring the concrete into the hole?

Great question. Our guys are monitoring the pour and making movements whenever necessary to make sure there are no issues. The setting of those lower units is a lengthy process and requires constant monitoring until the splashboards are connected
