I just bought a little under 100 nes boxes that came out of a rental store most of it was typical rental store filler like dick tracy, rambo, movie store type games but the highlights were a Super Mario Bros 3 Left Bros, and a Super Metroid box with the poster. I love piecing together and tracking down manuals to complete the games.

Yeah i would cause the boxes sometimes are worth nore then the game. People would rip open the box and throw it away. Now u cant find them. The not long ago i paid $100 for a empty mint condition collectors edition ocarina of time n64 box. Now i need to find the gold color cart and figure out what came in the box like manuals and posters or whatever so i can complete it. And also paid $60 for a empty box for castlevania adventure for the original gameboy. I had the manual and the game now its complete in box. So yeah always looking for empty boxes. Even the artwork on them is awesome. I love the boxes and its nice when u can complete something.

Buying retro game boxes is smart. I usually only buy CIB, but i have bought empty cardboard boxes and inserts and then completed the set later. Its a smart investment, and cost effective especially with NES.

@@MortsGarage I will say that I have better luck when checked on the plane than checked at the counter. Maybe look in a Ciao brand bag. It is a soft foam, but has form, and can go under the seat. I got mine at Costco

Absolutely enjoyed my time with Mutants In Manhattan. It's decidedly not perfect, but there's a lot of fun to be had with it. Total blast in multiplayer. Exemplary storytelling in this episode, sir. 8:52 is just a fantastic example of your ability to convey a change in mood or pacing with a subtle pan. I learn something new every time I watch. :) And Black Dynamite is INCREDIBLE.

Oh yes, TMNT Mutants in Manhattan. I think the reason that it didn't review all that well back than was because it wasn't one of Platinum's best games compared to some of their other games. Heck, even Transformers Devastation was so much better than this game IMO. Not a terrible game though but it could've been better. I remember getting this game when it was released digitally on Steam (PC) long before the game was delisted on multiple platforms digitally (hence the price for it went up similarly to the Deadpool video game).

I wondered about that - if it reviewed low because licensed properties get more scrutiny to begin with AND they had a certain reputation, or if the game was really just that bad.

@@MortsGarage There was definitely some things that didn't work all that well for the game, such as the CPU controlling the other 3 Ninja Turtles that you're not directly controlling yourself. It has online co-op but no local co-op support supposedly. And there is the possibility that the game was rushed to release by Activision (the publisher for the game). Thank goodness that Dotemu were given the rights to make TMNT video games going forward. Shredder's Revenge is such a great game. I'm looking forward to the Dimension Shellshock DLC expansion for the game coming out later this year.

I really like the Overwatch figures. But Hasbro kind of had to cancel the line in preparation for Overwatch 2, that got delayed. I never played Overwatch, I just like collecting toys and the the characters are fun. Great deal with the animal crossing switch dock and Magical quest 3. Wow. Yeah its great discovering games that you were not aware of before, that's a good thing about game hunting. Also just got that same Ninja Turtles game ps3 version paid $20. What a coincidence.
