Mortuary declines to receive bodies delivered by police

Police officers were today blocked from delivering unidentified bodies to the City Mortuary in a standoff between the Nairobi City County Government and the national police service. The County Government insists the morgue is filled to capacity, a move likely to impede police work as officers take bodies collected from scenes of crime and accidents to the morgue.

This is very unfortunate as a country how can a capital City be unable to build another facility? A facility built in 1956 na wakoloni to accommodate 184 bodies and the Nairobi county cannot build another facility? Where does the billions given to the county go? Sakaja ajibu maswali
