They are very cool trees. I tried to propagate some softwood morus nigra cuttings here in Eastern Europe, but started kinda late - in september. Now out of the 7 only one has started to root and grow and i was really happy. Unfortunately my cat for some weird reason managed to sneak into the room where im keeping them, knocked the plastic dome over it and bit off the lil' green stem. :( And i wanted to ask you for advice, if u think that it can be saved? And if there's some way to keep it alive and help it? Cause i feel bad and I know that they can lose alot of essential nutrients from such wounds. If it helps for info - its under plastic bottle dome in a room with a heater during the winter nights, around 68-75 fahrenheit, there is sunshine during the day, but i make sure its not a direct sunlight. I water when the soil gets dry and i spray them with clonex mist spray every 3,4 days. Should i continue as before or remove the injured bud and rely on the others below it? I have some grafting tape that i can wrap it in also, if it can help contain the nutrient loss.

Wie hast du die Blätter so klein bekommen?

This is new growth after defoliation. Overall, morus species are good on making leaves smaller.
