I used to listen to some of these over and over while I played Music Catch 1 & 2 as a kid. On my first year of college I would listen to this album and "Knight and Damsels" all the time while doing homework. Now I'm a senior and I stumbled upon this album again, the first few second hit me with such immense nostalgia. Thank you for making beautiful music!

Hello! My name is Eun-ji Kim. I'm a big fan of yours who live in South Korea! I love your songs especially 'Gentle' and 'Leaves in the wind'. 'Leaves in the wind' takes me to the windy hills. I listen your songs every silent night. Thank you for good songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

+김은지 I have similar feelings Eun-ji when I listen to his music. This is truly the rare kind of music that takes you to another place, a very quiet but emotional and powerful place. I'm also living in South Korea right now too :)

+Steven Mercadante Oh! I'm glad you live in South Korea! I'm so happy that you think same as me. Maybe many people think same as us!

김은지 ^_^ Yeah, I love Korea. Like almost all foreigners I am an English teacher here. Living in Uljin if you know where that is... really far away from Seoul or fun places haha
@김은지-s7p9 жыл бұрын
+Steven Mercadante WOW English teacher! That is cool. I know where Uljin is, but I've never been there. I live in Seoul. I want to go there, but it is really far from here.. so sad :'(

Last monday, a collegue (we sell coffee on trains) and friend had someone jump in front of his train. So I did what I could to help him, make him feel better, and your music certainly seemed to help a lot. So thank you Isaac, for being there through good and bad times. From a "simple" (but super fun) flash game, to helping people cope with traumatic experiences.

+Anche Yumuk Thank you! I'm glad you like the songs. Fun fact: Clandestine is a track that I've played for 15-20 years before releasing it on an album... not sure what took so long. ;-)

Oh i understand.Maybe that's why this song is so beautiful. Now i am learning it by ear but the arpeggios are very difficult - i don't know how to put my fingers and it to be easier...

Wow--it looks like you actually read the comments, although this last one was two years ago! I'm a teacher in China, and your music is my favorite thing to play for my students before class. I think "Letting Go" is wonderful, among others. I use it in Creative Writing class to create mood as well.

congratz dude... amazing.. just by curiosity, how long it takes for you to compose a single song?
@isaacshepard9 жыл бұрын
+Murillo Kubinhetz, thank you! Each song is a little different. Some songs can get done within just a few hours, and some are created by combining bits and pieces of a melody that I work on over years. On average, though, I would say most songs come together within a few days of focused work on them.

Isn't Leaves In The Wind from Deep Joy? Then again, this is a different version. Is it a remastered version or something?
@isaacshepard8 жыл бұрын
+Forest Star. Yes, Leaves in the Wind originally appeared on Deep Joy. This version is from "Mosaic" and was re-recorded with a different piano and is slightly less dynamic.
