That’s great work I’m currently learning how to do Damascus steel and reading a book on (Damascus steel Theory and practice ) and hopefully I will have a good bit of confidence in making myself a billet and forge a knife from it what wisdom can help me being a total newbie to this

Best of luck to you, I remember back when I first started making Damascus and I didn’t even know what I didn’t know. Keep it simple, clean steel, a little flux, good heat(bright yellow), and a good hammer or strong press

Thanks Wayne. I appreciate the feedback. I was new to the video editing software back then. I have figured out how to fade the music in and out now, so hopefully any future videos will be better production value.

dont worry about you talking too much... thats all ok .....BUT WHY THE HORRIBLE HARD MUSIC ???

Thanks for the comment. Sorry you didn’t like the music. Taste in music is subjective for sure. I’m still a beginner at video editing and the choices of music i have are somewhat limited.

@@lazyjmetalworks9626 I'm not a 15 year old, I don't need a music background. Sometimes silence is the nicest sound. Nice billet 👍

Sorry but i had to stop watching this a little over 3 minutes into the video. That 100lb propane cylinder is way to close to your forge from the phone/camera angle, and should be on the outside not inside of what is obviously your garage in a residential neighborhood. Disaster waiting to happen. I've seen videos and photos of well known makers whose tanks are close to their forge, and it makes me ask "What are they thinking?"
