I think a more honest representation of a Humanistic worldview would be this.... Focus: Humanity, humans Standard: science and reason is the standard of how we obtain knowledge Goal: improve the lives of humans Home is: reality Problem in the world: the problem of suffering My attitude is: Emapthy, how I can I reduce suffering/ harm I live by: truth, things that align with reality.

In other words: Focus: me (human) contrary to God Standard: Things on top-or beside- the bible as the standard of obtaining knowledge contrary to reading the bible and knowing God to acquire knowledge Goal: I get what I want; you get what you want, contrary to the goal of doing what God wants Home: the world; contrary to the truth which is the word of God which IS reality Problem in the world: people's problems, contrary to God's problem with sin who doesn't have a problem with suffering who in fact orders it and promises it to believers My attitude is: I think you should get what you want, and if you don't, I feel sorry for you, contrary to God should get what he wants and if he doesn't: that's because we sin against him I live by: truth, Jesus says he is THE TRUTH. If he isn't your Lord, you're misaligned against reality because he is God and demands obedience to the truth which is God. Edit: can you have a humanistic view and a christian view simultaneously without them being mutually exclusive? What is biblically sound I think is that if you put yourself or another human being before God (his will, purpose, wants etc) you are sinning and should stop because it is mutually exclusive to to have either a human focus first or God first. Therefore the view would be a sinful worldview. If the video is a misrepresentation of humanism (human first) it should be excluded that it is so because of the reason that that would mean humanism is sin.

he lost me, it's too dry he needs to simplify it and give more vivid and lively examples...sounds very monotonous

Congrats, you've achieved a terrible misrepresentation of both Christianity and Humanism.

Actually, he was spot on in showing the difference between the two, according to God's word, the Bible.
