Конечно город пуст ! Потому что ночью надо было не дома сидеть а в город выдвинуться , Новый Год всю ночь гуляют, а на следующий день отсыпаются чуть не до вечера ! Ночная Москва на Новый Год это незабываемое зрелище народные гуляния , конкурсы и множество аттракционов в парках и на площадях ! Проспали весь Новый Год и удивляются пустым улицам!

Наша страна имеет многовековую историю и замечательна не только своей национальной кухней. Не только архитектурой, - у нас множество выставок и музеев, галерей, театров. Даже в Москве, которая много раз горела и тем более в других городах. Есть просто уникальные объекты культуры. В Москве это Кремль, Царь пушка, Царь колокол. В Петербурге, дворцы, - Зимний, Екатерининский, Летний сад, Павловский парк, Петергоф и ещё более 200-т музеев. Крупнейшие собрания живописи, естественнонаучные музеи (минералогический, зоологический, ботанический сад и т. п.). Есть в России и города с более древней историей чем Москва или Петербург. Всего не перечислить. Есть что посмотреть, кроме ресторанов. Но для этого нужно перед поездкой постараться как можно больше узнать о городах которые собираетесь посетить, чтобы самое интересное вы не пропустили !
