Beautiful stuff & thanks for sharing. What a very clean city. A surprise to see English subtitles on some of the signs. Hopefully the tourism will return.

Hello Pavlin, I'm glad to see you're safe and relaxed. And Moscow is still the same, as I remember it from 35 years ago - BIG and magnificent - as whole Russia. Everything is "вот здесь за углом" there. :))) For a Central European, it is necessary to adjust to a completely different perception of distances and dimensions. We were walking 4 kilometers to one book shop, when militiaman told us - это недалеко, вот здесь за углом. :)

Breathtakingly beautiful architecture. Moscow central seems clean and well organised; contrary to what is presented. No graffiti or rubbish littering the streets. Imposed respect for the State has it's upside.

Josep Borell, the failed catalan politician who now passes for a spokesman for the EU just called Russia "a gas station with nuclear weapons". Barcelona or Brussels have nothing to rival Russia's culture. The Ramblas vs Red Square, the practically unknown Jacint Verdaguer vs Pushkin, Gogol, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy... Tchaikovsky vs... are there any Catalan composers?

I've been to Moscow (and Leningrad) a while ago (after graduation, in former Soviet Union), but then there was no cabbage in the public gardens (3:26). And going down into the subway was a bit scary, how deep it is (and ceiling are a bit low). A lot has changed. Thanks.

Ornamental cabbage is now popular in Russia. Now in Moscow and St. Petersburg there is much better landscaping and flowers than in the USSR 40 years ago.
