I always thought Luxembourgish & Hunsrik were Istvaeonic languages (Dutch-relative) because they're labeled as "Franconian", taking into account that Dutch descends from Old Low Franconian. However, I forgot a crucial detail: both tongues are "Moselle" Franconian (Moselle is a river basin where the Franconia region is also present) and in regard of this, Luxembourgish & Hunsrik ended up to be Irminonic languages (German-relative) with a heavy influence of French and Dutch due to its neighbourhood with France and the Low Countries (Belgium & the Netherlands). Overwhelmed again by the charming tricks of linguistics.

Cool video as always Were the recordings/text sent by different people? Hunsrik doesn't have an *official* orthography, so there are many concurring orthographies out there. The first part of the video (the numbers) is in one orthography, the Boll/ESCRITHU (the most popular) I believe, while the second part (the text) is in another, the Wieseman

A primeira ortografia é de fato a do Boll, mas a mais popular é a da Wiesemann (infelizmente)

Being not a standardized language, Hunsrik has many orthographies. The one used on the second part of the video is the Wieseman Orthography, an entirely phonetic one which intentionally tries to look as different as possible from anything else (quite edgy, I know). I learned (very basic) Hunsrik with the Boll Orthography, with which, the text would be "Gott... dud jede Dreene fun dene sein Aue abdrockne un es gebd keen Dod meh, keen Trauer, keen Kreisch un keen Pein. Die frihrische Dings sin rommgang"

Luxemburgish is now an endangered language btw. Fewer than 30% of children in Luxemburg now speak the language, and the decline is going very fast.
