I'm 69 and live alone, so sometimes I feel without purpose and a little lost. But this episode was encouraging. I know Moses might have had a speech impediment and felt inadequate and maybe too old - but with faith in God's power and guidance, nothing is impossible.

I went to seminary, so I cheat by knowing the Bible really well. This was such a good commentary on the exact way. It went for Moses and his family.

Thank you for this wonderful story. God hardened Pharoah's heart as a test for Moses and the Hebrews. I remember this story every time someone mistreated me. I keep my faith in God!

“As it happened….” He ended up by the well. It struck me that even lost and in despair 😢 God led him where he needed to go. This was no accident or coincidence.

This was a wonderful insight into the life Moses and how God called him, I would also like to know if Thutmose III was also King Ramses that Bible scholars often say was the Pharaoh that met Moses, or if ‘Ramses’ was a title that Thutmose III bore?
@TheIncredibleJourney6 ай бұрын
Thank you for your thoughtful comment and question. We're glad you enjoyed our program on Moses. Regarding your question about Thutmose III and Ramses: Thutmose III and Ramses II were different pharaohs who ruled at different times. Thutmose III reigned in the 15th century BC, while Ramses II ruled in the 13th century BC. 'Ramses' was not a title but a name used by several pharaohs, most famously Ramses II. The identity of the Exodus Pharaoh is debated among scholars. Some favor Thutmose III, others Ramses II, and some propose different candidates altogether. The Bible doesn't specifically name the Pharaoh, which has led to this ongoing discussion. Our apologies that we cannot be more helpful on this subject. Our third and final installment on Moses will be released this Friday. Hope you enjoy it. God bless

Thutmose III and Ramses were 2 different people that lived 150 -200 years apart. The Pharoah of the Exodus was Amenhotep II. He was the son of Thutmose III
