This scene is one of the most breathtaking moments in the movie. It's one of those scenes that shows how groundbreaking at the time the animation was. It also highlights a moment of Aaron's character growth. While Moses and Ramases lose their brotherly bond, it also shows the rebirth and growth between Moses and Aaron. Aaron basically accepted his life as a slave and lost his faith in God and his brother while Miriam still held hope. But after the plagues, he began to revitalize his hope and faith, and his trust and love for his brother began to grow. During the Exodus, he's there by his brother's side, and in this scene, he's the first Israelite to walk into the unknown when Moses parts the Red Sea, showing he now fully trusts his brother and his faith is restored.

God loves every human. God could've burn the Egyptians, but didn't. He let them witness miracles, and still Pharaoh did not believe. In the end, Egyptians died because of their own actions. The first person that went to heaven was the thief who recognised Lord Jesus Christ as the one true God, he repented for his sins and asked Him to remember him on His Kingdom.

I mentioned something similar on another Prince of Egypt video. But this is exactly why I love the movie so much. Because even thought someone is not religious, they’ve told that they still think of this film as a Masterpiece in some other way. Especially from the music, to the animation and even just the concept and ideas of this adaptation of the Bible. But the best part is, the whole message behind this movie can be applied to anyone of any age, of any walk of life. “There can be miracles, when you believe.” On the religious side, it has the message of faith. But to everyone else, it has the beautiful message of staying strong for what is right. To overcome the doubt that shadows you, and to keep going on.

DreamWorks truly exceeded expectations with this film. The soundtrack is a mesmerizing blend of emotional melodies that perfectly complements the stunning visuals, creating a cinematic experience that continues to tug at my heartstrings every time I watch it. One of the most poignant moments for me is when Moses grapples with the devastating consequences of his actions, leading to the death of his nephew. The weight of that moment is profound; it’s as if the entire world has come crashing down on him. It’s a moment of deep moral conflict, and I can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of empathy for him. The film captures his anguish so beautifully that it almost seems tangible, reflecting the unbearable pain he endures as he navigates his tumultuous journey. DreamWorks has truly done an outstanding job of conveying the complexity of Moses' emotions, making this an unforgettable tale that resonates deeply with viewers.

You know this is a man made animation, right? It remains more or less faithful to the original text for the sake of certain dramatic effects. The actual events went like this: Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, 22 and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. 23 The Egyptians pursued them, and all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots and horsemen followed them into the sea. 24 During the last watch of the night the Lord looked down from the pillar of fire and cloud at the Egyptian army and threw it into confusion. 25 He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said, “Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.” 26 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.” 27 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward[c] it, and the Lord swept them into the sea. 28 The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen-the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.

Moses didn’t part the Red Sea, God did. He “moved the sea with a strong East wind all the night, and He turned the sea to damp land and the water split.”
@doublereel-real13 күн бұрын
Technically all miracles in Christian mythology are attributed to the god of the bible, however it's not very good for storytelling if your characters are shown to be powerless all the time. It's easier to ascribe power to people who channel the power the of diety as a means to make the story more relatable.

@@Akillesursinnebecause you say so and it fits your narrative? You are greatly underestimating the greed & ungratefulness of human beings. That’s not how this works…The Lord was leading them in a cloud already and it moved behind to separate the Egyptians and Israel. Also, a strong east wind blew all night for them to cross. These were to show that God will protect and deliver them and for them to trust in God. Btw… Moses was 80 at this time.

How hardened must your heart be, if you still chase after them, when you see a pillar of fire and the see split? The bible is true, its must have book for archeology if you wanna find anything from ancient times, like ägyptian the chariots in the red see. God preserved enough evidense for us to prove his word. And faith and trust need to fill the gaps, thats our part. All glory to the triune god, father son and holy spirit.!
