The only thing I could see that's specifically tricky about a dm in open position is the fact it's not super common unless you play in F or C often, so it's not getting pounded into your muscle memory like em, am, etc.. with the exception of all chord changes can be tricky for the beginner

Tune your voices into the chords you play(strum the chord and match your voice to it) the same as you tune a guitar and practice for voice strength and smooth transition... It'll take alot of practice to get this good but everyone can improve their voices and sing. Top guy for the lesson... He just taught us almost all of his songs in 30 seconds... What a legend... To everyone commenting on the difficulty of the "F" chord: You can play an F chord by taking the two lower fingers of the C chord and moving them up one string. Edit for clarity: moving your fingers up, meaning pitch. So move each finger to the next smaller string.

The Beatles, especially during their time, changed music, they experimented, and tried different sounds, their songwriting was very very very good, and they were very consistent. Ed Sheeran every album sounds borderline the same, it's not unique, it's very basic, you could get a song from 1 albun and put it in another and no one would blink an eye. A Day In The Life is better than anything Ed Sheeran could possibly do. It's obvious you don't know what you're talking about
