Songs from this era (The era I grew up in) just bring "TEARS" to my eyes. The photo of the woman is just my cover pix, "I'm a man speaking these words." This was a HUGE hit in the urban community. It was always being played on urban radio and mainstream radio would also blow this song up. (The other version) I would love to re-visit that time in my life (The 1960's & 70's) Those were the good times / best times of my life. Life was full of life, joy & happiness. I was a teenager in 1970, i got my first pair of Allstars (Chuck Taylors) tennis shoes, $11.95. This song rock and I ran to the record shop and brought the 45, $79 cent on sale. What happen? The answer: "TIME" is what happen........and it doesn't stand still no matter what. The soul of great music will always live on in the hearts of those who were there and still care. I thank God that I was brought forth in my mother womb (1957) to experience those times and memories.
