I believe that. But, other aspects of Tammi's life would have had to change for her to reach her true potential. For1, her poor choice in the kind of men in her life. They would just take advantage of her and pull her down. She was a young girl in a grown folk world. Diana Ross was a lot more ambitious. She was not going to deal with anyone who could not help make her a shining star. She realized her woth early in life. I truly believe Tammy would have given her strong competition all things considered😏

@ Alejandro mora - a much better singer than Diana Ross! I agree. I just wish Tammi never had anything to do with that dope sniffing head singer of the Temptations. I can’t think of his name right now. He really messed his life up. I just remembered his name, “ David Ruffin” 🤮. That thug could really sing, though.
@stanchatman6325 жыл бұрын
Diana Ross by far was the better singer over Tammi Terrell. But Tammi Terrell was by far the most likeable and gave out the best vibes over any artist at Motown at that time.
@paradiseadams63205 жыл бұрын
@ stan chatman - I disagree with your comments; Diana Ross voice was too fake, putting too much emphasis on articulations! Although she can sing, but Tammi Terrell had a more genuine voice, very natural and sexy. She had the looks to go with it. I see why Marvin Gaye would fall in love with Tammi Terrell. If Tammi hadn’t been messing around with that thug, dope head David Ruffin, she would have been so much better off. I don’t know why no good people try to worm their way in decent people lives. I believe Tammi and Marvin were soulmates, but The Lord just had other plans. 😔

On this day, March 2nd, in the year of our Lord, 2024, I am here listening to this beautiful song, and basking in the sheer magical energy that somehow floods my soul, at the sound of their angelic voices. Neither of them deserved the hell they endured in their time… The very thought of their plight is saddening. However, they left us bits and pieces of themselves, that lives on forever in our minds and hearts. May their souls rest in peace. Guys, let’s all take this as yet another lesson…that our only purpose on this earth should be loving each other, and giving the very best of ourselves always. Show love, respect and utmost kindness to ALL who enters your presence. No excuses. Ultimately…in the end when the dust settles, everything we do unto others will make its way right back into our lives. Will be returned to us, and our offspring.
