Love the tank. You are right about the moss balls. Super easy plant to keep even in very low light and without supplements or fertilizer but slow growing if any other plants are in the tank, especially stem plants that take nutrients from the water column. They can carpet but takes quite a while (MONTHS not weeks like other carpeting plants) to become a full carpet.

I think that moss balls are super flipping awesome, and that people underuse them, these are both awesome scapes, but there's just something special about the way the Moss carpets and the texture of the elephant skin rocks combined. 😩👌

H2O Plants, once I messed with them they slowly browned and disintegrated. However, keep in mind I bought them at Petsmart.

Bryan G mine were perfectly healthy for months... until I decided to try to put them on my tree, just wrapping it around the branches.(I had watched many pull them apart and do what I did to them) For some reason, that was it... they turned dark and then began to fall apart. Mind you, all of my plants were doing fabulous, as were the moss balls ... until I messed with them 😨😔

Justin, I have some questions about your plants on the website but no where on the site that I see is any contact information. I am concerned that because this is not easy to find or not found at all on the website that it would be tough to get ahold of you if there are issues with an order. For instance, I am getting a notification that states there are “inventory issues” when about to place an order for some plants and to contact the seller but there is no information on how to contact you! I went through the site multiple times and could not find it. Would like to order but not until I’m sure I can reach out to the person who is selling.

So bought some yesterday with some kind of parasite. Not planaria but since I just started my tank I just broke it down! :( Is there a way to make sure moss balls are parasite free before introducing?

I think the moss balls attach to the rocks are too bulky, especially the left side..maybe flatten them down so it'll look natural

Can you use regular superglue(like the gorilla glue) to attach the moss balls or some other stuff/ or could you use fishing line?

You could use fishing line or gel super glue. Aquarium Co-op has a video on attaching plants.

I'm curious to see how well the moss balls do with high lighting. Mine die in my tanks with too much light. They do fine in my low-light tanks. They seem to like cold, dark tanks. Kept them for years, no issues, until I put in my LED lights to promote plant growth. Every type of algae goes wild with the excess light except the marimo.

alexx c i ordered my moss balls from aquatic arts via Amazon. Got a variety pack and the large ones in the pack i opened up and super glued them to cover my cichlid caves. Love the results

Moss ball plants look awful because they are too thick here and they have round edges, does match well with those rocks. The patches style is a state of being without ethereal beauty and elegance, but parasite feeling. Sorry, dislike it.
