The most underrated part of this scene is the CSI photo enhancement suggestion. One time I saw on CSI where they zoomed into a picture of a car. Zoomed into the side view mirror. Enhanced. Saw the car behind. Zoomed into the license plate of the car in the side view mirror. Enhanced. Tracked down the suspect off of that license plate number. Not exaggerating and it wasn't a parody.
@beckiesmith1503 жыл бұрын
Yes, if you didn't know, that is how advanced technology is today. We can zoom into a picture three times and then enhance it and it's as if you took the picture of the license plate in the first place.

@@kimvanfelton3413 Why? It's not as if in his mind he has just met her. In his mind he is thinking about a life like that. Barry Berkman is many things, so is Sally. but is it really fair to say his daydream of him and her having children is creepy? Weird maybe, creepy? No way. There's a big difference between odd/weird and creepy.

I feel for Barry. You can blatantly tell that Sally is non-empathetic and sort of emotionally sadistic toward him, even if he's not treating her the best. Happens a lot, but this is the position that isn't brought to light enough....
@turkeymcduckin79092 жыл бұрын
I actually do see that point brought up all the time. Also that just makes sense, most people support the main character. Sally's character prioritized her career over Barry. It's the one thing she wants in life. I also think her anger towards Barry here is primarily bc her ex was highly abusive and possessive. She also I think developed coping mechanisms where she's more detached and even violent by the end of S2 towards Barry bc she's trying to protect herself, it's easier to be in control than the one being abused.
@kimvanfelton3413 Жыл бұрын

@@kimvanfelton3413 I don’t think you do either. The shows not about who’s worse it’s about how they’re all shitty in different incomparable ways. The irony is that the chechens and Bolivians are somehow the healthiest people on the show. All the theatre kids + cousineau are raging narcissists and Barry is a psycho manipulative killer. If we’re talking about the spectrum here fuches is probably the worse.

Alex I mean, possessiveness is usually an indication of an abusive personality. And if you saw season 2, the scene that Sally writes is Sam getting possessive when she was talking to a friend. Sally has seen this behavior before and I think she’s in the right to avoid it.
@burnbobquist89995 жыл бұрын
Yeah they did, well it was clear that it was more than a one night stand for him and he had a serious crush or just a completely different definition of love and sex than her. And when she notices it, she could have talked to him about it, but this way she behaved like an ass. And yeah Barry is a killer, but does she know that? No.

She slept with Barry the previous night, went to a party with Barry the next day, got flirted with by another random dude, left the party with the random dude and probably hooked up with him, then tells Barry he is the problem and basically the whole audience agrees and thinks Sally was 100% in the right... If you were actually watching this show closely you would realize that this had nothing to do with Barry. Remember, her so-called agent wanted to have sex with her and did not put her on the list for an audition and she felt embarrassed and taken advantage of. Barry's fault is that he just saw her physical need. So, he bought her a new computer after seeing that hers was cracked. This small gesture is interpreted as Barry trying to own her, the same feeling she had earlier that day or the day before with her ex-agent. Barry did not recognize her emotional needs. To be honest, Barry is struggling with his emotions. That is not toxic masculinity as you suggest.

@@namedidii How is that toxic though? that's just because he's anti-social, if a guy ever did that with you, you shouldn't assume he's toxic, just assume that he is socially challenged and doesn't know how to properly act around people because of ways they might have had issues within their life. it's basic human decency.
