Bro spent 2 and half minutes talking about how he wants to snitch so bad that he’ll snitch on accident and then was like “haha jk man I’m cool you can trust me I’d never tell a soul”

That was probably one of the most heartbreaking moments in the entire show Like I was suppose to feel good for Gene But the devastation I felt for Hank and Chechens was too harsh

I found it interesting that the soldiers clap and chant “Berry Berkman!” in the same rhythm as Ryan Madison does in the pilot. As if those were both moments where Barry got approval for what he perceived as skills that gave him purpose.

I think the way "and all of your friends" comes out is the most haunting part for me. I think 99% of the time this line would ever be said in any spot would have at least some emphasis to make it sound more threatening, but it's very clear there is no bluff in this situation.

This was the beginning of the downfall, had Fuches not done this ONE thing, the entire rest of Barry wouldn’t have happened

I don't blame Barry for doing this, the guy pressured to be there and wants to drag Barry down with him all for a cartel goon who was just gonna kill both of them.

Bill Hader was a big Dexter fan. He wore his ‘kill outfit’ in the first episode, and then he just did the Dexter point on the forehead

My mom just passed away, it wasn't pretty. She was battling breast cancer for the third time and finally got admitted and drugged to the point where she looked like a slumped-over vegetable by the end. She was a husk and shell of her former self. Unresponsive and unable to say goodbye. Every time I try to look at happy photos of her or look back at memories of her like Gene does here, those images in my brain of her lifeless, barely-breathing body overcome the good thoughts. I don't think there will ever be a better interpretation of PTSD mixed with grief.

I think it's interesting that the thing Barry taps into that really makes it work the second time around is not specifically just the rage from his killings, but the immediate shame as he "comes to" right after he's done pulling the trigger; shame at the way he hurts people who do not deserve to be hurt, at the way he can't process it like all of the people around him, at the way he's been made to feel good about killing to the extent that in this scene he is still being rewarded for that part of who he is by the rest of the class.
