The button in the JM pro in the trigger guard is a cocking indicator.

So glad you reviewed this. I have the 410 synthetic Hushpower version on order for when I’m on the pigeons near to stables.

Lloyd if you pre-tension the forearm when the trigger breaks will come slamming back so all you have to remember is to push it back forwards. With a bit of practice this will get the split times on true pairs to under 2/10 second and this allows you to shoot a pair with the same break points as you would use with an O/U shotgun.

This technique utilising recoil works well on pump actions with rotating bolts (Benelli Nova, Winchester 1200/1300 etc). Mossberg tilting block bolt wont open with recoil and if you apply pressure rearwards with your hand it wont open either. I own a 12 gauge Mossberg 500 and use it with push-pull technique, which can also become pretty fast with training of course, but winchester and benelli pumps have more speed potential. There is a vid here on youtube with someone shooting 5 rounds out of a benelli supernova in under 2 seconds!

A Pump shotgun is like a M1 Garand. When you first try one they are awkward as heck but with some practice they are very very quick.

Hey Lloyd it is me here from the U.S again, I know our guns are alittle different but I wanna get into sporting clays and looking for a mid price gun. Which gun would be the best for me to start out, other brownings in the browning 725 sporting, beretta 694, or the Benelli 828U sporting, Caesar guerini invictus I sporting, or the Fabarm Elos N2 RS sporting. Or just save up more money to get the big boys like the Perazzi or the krieghoffs?

For your first gun, buy something relatively cheap used, browning superposed and beretta 680 series. Once you have been shooting for a while and develop a style then look at something nicer. Pointless buying a nice gun that you might end up hating as it doesn’t suit your style.

You’re 100% right and all this makes sense. I have notice that I like a gun that shoots alittle higher than most, like a 65/35 POI or a 70/30 POI …. I’m been shooting Semi Automatic for a while and realized that over the years, now I have all my guns set for a 70/30 POI, that’s just my shooting style. So I’m looking for a over under that can provide that for me

@@danieloxendine7818 you will likely get on with a trap gun then. Lots of used examples to play with out there.
