If you're looking for a stand up desk. I fully back this product up. I am a current user of this desk. However, in the 72"x 30" variant. I've had it for a year and 3 months and it's been the best one yet. Very affordable compared to the other brands. I have the first model they come out with. Shipping was a hassle. They were still considered a start-up company and it took 3.5 months for my desk to finally ship. But, I believe they finally have the inventory and workers to ship out in a timely manner now. Shipping was $50 bucks but they waived it when they couldn't fulfill the order in the first timeline. I currently hold a lifetime warranty on my desk if anything happens. If you get this desk I would install a 10-12 outlet stick on the bottom of the desk that way you don't have a ton of cables hanging. I also made my own cable management shelf. I fully support autonomous. Their support team is great! The video I made on this received so much feedback that they offered me there chair. Although, it's not the color I wanted. The chair itself is amazing and not like those garbage racing style chairs. Anyways, If you have any questions or concerns I'll answer them since Ed doesn't respond to much.

Until the wires get tangled up with each other, next thing you know you hit that number 4 and the desk starts to move up, tension in the wires increases and BAM, out of nowhere your monitor has fallen over, smashed your keyboard and your mouse has popped off the side, mouse is hanging with impending doom whilst you try to pick up the monitor to check its damage, slip of the hand and you pressed 1, the desk starts to move down, monitor in your hand, wire simultaneously pops out of the back of the monitor causing you to shake, monitor is dropped and smashes straight through keyboard, screen is damages, keyboard doesn't work, but hey AT LEAST YOU STILL GOT THE FUCKING DESK

I never did understand how you could make cable management look good on sit/stand desks w/o a couple FEET of slack.
@NotToBeMessedWid7 жыл бұрын
buy a bendable tube . looks much better. also you can get away with using just ONE wire by attaching an extension plug at the bottom side of the desk and attaching all other plugs to that one extension. or if you dont want that wire too, you can simply drill a hole in one of the legs and run the wire through it to hide it.
@BeerBellyDK7 жыл бұрын
You have a power strip mounted on the bottom of the tabletop, and you make sure to keep everything, including the pc on the desk. Then you have only one wire leaving the desk to deal with. Simple.

Dronzy got it in stand mode, next thing you know you hit number one to go down to sit, sit down, suddenly your arm slips off the arm rest, the desk still going down, WHICH COULD cause hand damage. Could. I said COULD.

1100 for a desk.. are you mad? i understand spending that much on a chair as it help you back and gives you good posture but on desk? no way lol
@AyySorento7 жыл бұрын
Darzo it was mainly that expensive because I got the 84" model which has an insane amount of surface area. the desk showed in the video is probably 60". also the desk I bought has a special coating on it that protects the desk but also feels really nice to touch. it also has rounded edges so when you rest your arms it's not pinching you. spending that much money on a desk is insane but I'm at my desk probably more than I should be so I was able to justify it.

Am I the only one that went to Menards and bought parts for a sitting/standing desk for $40? Its sturdy and can hold more then 350 pounds on it, and has a dark wood color to it, plus instead of 10-30 days of waiting build it in less then 10 minutes. the downside you might ask? No cable management, but if you grab some zip ties and some free time, all those cables/cords will be gone. Please stop wasting $300 on a desk that you could build for yourself for less then $50. (Forgot to mention they have a lot of different desk parts that are all "compatible" as you might say) Edit: Few spelling mistakes.
@nebsys7 жыл бұрын
That's with anything, products are marked up to make profit. $300 Isn't even THAT bad, it's bad don't get me wrong, but there's others companies who range these in the high thousands. In reality not everyone wants to drill holes into a piece of wood and put more man hours into making a standing desk xD
@blockzgaming44197 жыл бұрын
NEBULA I can agree with some of that but, in total I had to drill in 20 screws taking less then five minutes, so hours? That's a little drastic but, if your willing to wait weeks or months to get there (if you order it) then that's a bit longer then five minutes.

There's no use getting a K-series CPU if you're not getting a motherboard with overclocking support. I ran through a parts list on PCPartPicker, but I am very picky when it comes to which brands I get for what since I'll only buy from brands I've had previous good experiences with. So, let me go over the parts I have selected, and I have tried to keep along with the same major components that you selected above. [Note: *I recommend highly that you build the PC yourself. Letting someone else do it for you is like paying for someone to install your TV, not worth the extra money.*] Intel Core i7-7700K ($343.19) Corsair H100i v2 AIO liquid cooler ($99.99) Gigabyte Z270-HD3 ($114.99) Corsair Vengeance DDR4-2400 16GB kit ($116.89) Samsung 250GB SSD ($93.99) Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200RPM ($89.89) MSI GTX 1060 6GB ($264.98) Fractal Design R5 Blackout edition w/ window ($119.99) Rosewill Photon-750 fully modular PSU ($77.98) Windows 10 64-bit (Whatever, you'll need it anyways) Now, you'll notice a few things here. One, I selected a 3TB HDD instead of the 1TB that you mentioned in your list. I did this because it has never been cheaper to get reliable high capacity storage for your PC and judging by the fact you have 21 uploaded videos you may need the space to 'cold store' video footage... or games. I also put in a Corsair H100i liquid cooler. It is not as dangerous as it sounds. It costs a little bit extra but if you're going to be overclocking with that K-series CPU you're going to want some serious cooling capabilities. The radiator for this will be screwed to the top of the Fractal Design R5 increasing airflow. With that said, you really shouldn't consider LED strips or extra fans as core parts of the build. With the H100i, you'll have four fans which is plenty of airflow for all your needs. I built a very similar PC to what I've listed above a little over a year ago. All of the components still work great and the CPU runs very cool. Highly recommend all of the components I listed and I hope you'll build your PC yourself, it's a great learning experience for how these things work, and as such you'll be more intuned to try to fix it yourself and diagnose an issue if something goes wrong. You'll know how to both remove and replace the component, which in turn saves you money.
