This has got to be the coolest Dime collection on the planet. Maybe somebody high up at Dean or Washburn has more, but that’s a different kind of collection. If not technically the largest or most expensive, this has to be the best collection because of the sheer level of commitment by Frank. One of the best guitar KZbin episodes ive seen this year.

Dime is watching the pit from above. Glad you had the opportunity to check out his collection. Quick Pantera story: I got to see Pantera during the Reinventing the Steel tour with Morbid Angel. I was maybe 16. Every band killed it. Phil did a song with Morbid Angel. I believe it was a cover, cannot remember. During Pantera set Phil brought out a keg and threw beer cups out to the crowd. He had that perfected, threw them far and upright. Rad show.

I think a large part of the sound changing was due to the different camera angles which resulted in different microphone placement more than the changes to the amp settings.

Before I start the video, my favorite Dimebag Washburn model was the short-lived starfish guitar, the trans red finished one. I don't even know what pickups it had, but it looked sweet af.

I find the Dimebag sig guitars kinda tacky, or more elegantly put, not my cup of tea. But seeing Ola and the guys nerding over the guitars is very wholesome! Also, that blue camo Scott Ian SG type thing looks amazing!

I love all these memories when I see these guitars. I have a jcm 800 Zakk wylde sig. matching head and cab. And I bought the Washburn’s nick Cantonese sig guitar also. Seeing all these dime and BLS signatures brings back awesome memories of BLS and damage plan touring. Rip dime!!! Getchya Pull.

I actually used to deal with a guy on the Boogie Street forums many years ago named Mark (I think) from Canada, who had a HUGE Dime Washburn collection. I was actually able to talk him into selling me a Dime 3ST in Blue/Silver as well as a Randall Warhead 4-12 Straight Front Cab. This is some major badassery though!!!! Awesome!
