I wish these videos were honest, why confuse people by showing a thermoform plastic being recycled into pellets then lying and claiming it somehow inexplicably magically becomes a powdered thermoset phenolic resin used for plates. People they are two different materials with very different chemical properties, you might as well show putting cookies in the oven and taking a steak out it's just ridiculous. Information rather than lies? how about it youtube?

It's much worse. Melanin is among the deadliest plastics. Entering the body through food, especially if it is heated, it accumulates and causes the so-called plastic stones in the kidneys, which lead to kidney failure even if they are completely removed surgically, and in larger doses to death. This material should not be used for human or animal food, but here it is used specifically for food. It is not a problem for chairs, vases and such, but not for food and liquids that are swallowed.
