I think the titles all being on the same day has something to do with the industry as a hole, and what day they tend to release books: I’ve noticed recently that it’s mostly on Tuesdays for the bigger releases. Not sure why that is, but I figured it’s the same how movies always come out on Thursday night/Friday to track opening weekend sales

Wind and Truth is my most anticipated of the year, but Trials of Empire by Richard Swan, the 3rd book in the Empire of the Wolf trilogy, which is being released on February 6th, is definitely up there as well!

Also the quick and concise descriptors were perfect! It gave me just enough info to know if I wanted to look into the book further! Though it may have been bad for my wallet.... My most anticipated is Song of the Mysteries by Janny Wurts. It’s the final volume of a series I started reading in 1993 and I can’t wait to see how it ends. The other book I’m looking forward to is The Sunforge by Sascha Stronach. Its release date keeps getting changed - latest update says August. The first book, The Dawnhounds, had rather unique world building - mushroom houses and “alive” bullets to give an example.

I submitted The Husky and His White Cat Shizun vol. 5 and I figured it would probably be too niche to include but it made me very happy to see it! ^_^ it’s a Danmei novel (which is more or less the Chinese equivalent of BL) and while queer romantasy is technically not inaccurate it makes it sound a little more lighthearted than the series has been so far =‘) it has me in a chokehold and it’s been torture to wait for the (official) translations to release ^^;

Also I was bummed about my birthday falling on a Tuesday this year, but a new T. Kingfisher book and the new belladonna book releasing that day makes it feel less depressing ^^

I'm not sure where the February release date for The Strength Of The Few came from considering the author isn't done writing it yet and says he'll probably submit his manuscript to the publisher in March 😅
