Every publisher has something worth reading right now. From DSTLRY & Fantagraphics to the licensed books that Dynamite puts out all the way to Zine publishers like Warrant with their Savage Sword of Conan title. There's something for everybody in comics right now. That's not even mentioning things like webtoons & manga, or indie comics.

I'm really excited for Absolute Green Lantern. The variant cover Martin Simmonds did for issue 1 is giving me some serious blackest night & emerald twilight vibes... ALSO the 1st issue of Jeremy Adam's Aquaman just came out yesterday & it has some pretty interesting implications for both the absolute and main dc universe. I highly recommend reading it when you can

I am cautiously excited about the Doomworld event. Ryan North has such a firm handle on the Fantastic Four and associated characters that I'm excited to see what he does with One World Under Doom. My favorite Bloodhunt tie in was the Fantastic Four one because it had the least to do with the actual Blood Hunt event. I love the current 1 to 2 issue Sci-Fi stories format that Fantastic Four is currently. I'd hate to see that completely broken moving forward due to MCU tie ins.

I'm extremely excited about Rick Remender's "The Seasons" coming out at the end of this month and Jason Aaron's "Bug Wars" starting in February. Absolute Martian Manhunter starts not long after that. Image & Marvel both have some great ongoing books, BOOM! & Tynion IV are killing it with "Something is Killing the Children". DC specifically has been absolutely killing it on the writing front. Both Wonder Woman titles are just excellent right now. They both might be in my top 10 ongoing books right now. There are a lot of new books and continuing series in this first quarter of 2025 that I'm really excited about. It's a great time for anybody to get into comics.

In 2024 i read a mini series Gotham by Gaslight the Kryptonian age. This was a sequel to Batman Gotham by Gaslight. In 2025 this mini series continues with Gotham by Gaslight A League of Justice. I am planning on reading that as well

I personally can't wait for the Sonic X DC crossover. Despite IDW being quite famous for it's crossovers and the Archie Sonic having crossovers with characters like Mega Man to freaking Spawn. The IDW Sonic comics haven't really had any of it's own crossovers and I think that's mostly cause the IDW comic run is considered canon to the games so it's not allowed to have as much fun or do as many weird things as Archie Sonic or other IDW comic runs. So it makes the Sonic X DC comic run and partnership so cool for even existing, don't even get me started on the fact it's planned to run through both 2025 and 2026.

Awesome! 🙌🏼 The Batman/ Fortnite: Zero Point comics are the only comics I own personally (I know) 😅 I’ve never been a big collector of comic books but I am a avid Fortnite player and Batman fan so I picked them up.
