I've owned and operated over 11 DC stores for 25 years. My father was also in the business but retired in 1981. He was in it for over 30. I liked the video. It was very informative. There were a few questionable topics but generally very good. This should really help the public understand the process. Great job on the video. I know it took you some time.

Universally we all have the same systems and problems, your advice is good, lost tickets are a right pain but we all must grin and bear it.

This was very helpful. Thank you. The only issue is that most dry cleaners will tell you that there's no difference between club soda and regular water. The carbonation doesn't add anything to the cleaning process.

Bad idea for the customer to treat the stain first. Just take it to your trusted cleaner and point out and identify the stain.

I've been in all aspects of the dry cleaning business for 42 years. From owning an equipment business which includes sales, service and installations to owning several dry cleaning stores. Not much I haven't done in this industry. So with that said, I liked the video. This isn't a training video on how to become a professional dry cleaner. For it's intended purpose, I think they did a good job with it.

NEVER pretreat a spot. You risk rubbing the spot deeper into the fabric making it harder to remove. Just bring it to your local dry cleaners and let them deal with the spot.
