Linda Ronstadt has always been self-deprecating and modest about her own singing ability, but she never has had one ounce of insecurity or hesitation about expressing or doing what she thinks is right and just. These two so loved and respected each other. Although I don't think Ms. Ronstadt is a "believer," I just watched an old video of her singing "Silent Night" with Aaron on his Christmas special. Two angelic voices. Thank you for your attention to this dynamic duo.

Linda Ronstadt loved every second singing with Aaron Neville (pronounced NEVille, not NeVILLE). The chemistry between them is palpable. And yes, when she goes in for the kiss at the end. I was lucky enough to see Aaron Neville & his brothers perform live years ago. Definitely check out their other duets together. Linda holds back on her voice in duets because her voice is SO powerful and it was effortless for her. In a big area, she didn't even need a microphone. Unfortunately, Linda can no longer sing because of Parkinson's disease.

You have to take a listen to the Neville Brothers' "Yellow Moon" album. Ronstadt never married, but she was famously involved with former California Jerry Brown back in the 70s. Goes without saying, Linda was one of the greats. It's heartbreaking that her illness has robbed her of her singing voice.
