"I was not crying". I just got something in both of my eyes at the same time. I will never forget in 1967 the first time I heard this. The song was written by two members of his band at the time. Although now retired Aaron is still alive and well at the ripe young age of 80. And like the other commenters here I also say watch the very moving live version of his duet with Linda Ronstadt "Don't Know Much". Yes, the music of yesterday kills the junk of today.

Love Aaron Neville voice & also The Neville Bros. I played the 45 "Tell It Like It Is" constantly in 1966 because I had some decisions to make about this guy who kept wanting to get closer to me & I wasn't ready. The song was like he & not Aaron was speaking to me. This song ended up helping me to change the course of my life. I moved to CA, he followed & we said "I Do" a year & a half later. We were together until he died in 2010.

My mom and I were just listening to Aaron Neville last night and freaked when he sang "Pledging My Love." Just freaking beautiful! His son Ivan is also a great artist as well as his brothers. Just an amazingly talented family! You NEED to check him out further because, my God, that voice hits parts of your soul that you never knew existed. "Crazy Love" just makes me want to scream in absolute ecstasy. That voice is a treasure!

This my all time favorite souks singer, great choice! He has some amazing X-mas classics under his belt. He is called the voice of an angel! Saw him last 2 years ago for the second time, the guy gets better with age and the vocals; believe he is now 80 plus. Woww you are crying???! One of the best of '67. My mom wore this out, with scratches and all. Now i have it on CD with crystal clear sound. Check out his brother Ivan Neville with " Falling Out Of Love". Totally different sound from this, but i think you will like it. It was the opening song in the John Ritter comedy film Skin Deep, loved that movie, John was so funny.
