Hello Guys, in this video, i have covered a very beautiful tourist destination of Munnar and that is Kolukkumalai .we stayed their bethal verkis resort at Chinnakanal, The next day, early morning at 4: 30 we started our Jeep Safari ride to kolukkumalai which is known for beautiful views along with the highest tea plantation in the world. About Kolukkumalai: Kolukkumalai is a small village/hamlet in Bodinayakanur Taluk in the Theni district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is home to the highest tea plantations in the world with the tea grown here possessing a special flavour and freshness because of the high altitude. It is situated near Munnar.
Kolukkumalai is only accessible by jeeps because of the rugged terrain. Walking up this route is not permitted. Jeeps are available from the town of Suryanelli and it takes you about 2 hours to reach the drop-off point after which you trek! The trek is about 1.5 km and is an easy one to do.
Munnar BETHEL VARKIS Resort - Nice place to enjoy, So calm and quite. Enjoyable place.. We got reasonable room rate too... The staff is very well helpful for getting ideas for sight seeing areas.. We really enjoy this stay.
