Im self thought and videos like this are the ways I learn. Ive always attempted Acrylic but it was not the best for me. I tried the dipping system and it worked better... BUT then I saw a video (by you) and you recommended builder gel over acrylic.. I said lets give it a try... GIIIIRLLLLL, you were 💯 right! Its sooooooooooo so so much easier than anything else. Specially with the self leveling ability ❤️ THANK YOU!

I totally agree, builder gel and gel products period, have been the best things in my life! After being a nail tech for 30 years, wearing acrylics for about as long, I made the change on my own nails to builder gel about 3 years ago. I started out with IBD punk, switched to clear, have tried various kinds of gel, poly gel, bottle gel, and they all have their pros & cons. I've been sticking with bottled builder gel for the past year, it makes overlays and fills so easy, usually with no finish filing. My own nails have grown long, strong and I love them! This set that you did is so pretty! I usually stay away from glitter in my gel because I wear polish all of the time but this looks very pretty, great for the holidays alone but I love the bling, too. Have a wonderful Christmas! I love your tips girl! The only thing I prefer with resin is that the crystals appear to.float on the nail and there is no bulk from the gel but great tip regarding using gel to adhere crystals when they arent foiled flat backs

I was wondering why do u use a rubber base for your gel nails? What difference does that make with the nails? Also, the gel u use to hold the stones in place, does it have no tacky layer after being cured? Or do u have to go over it with a no wipe top coat after it cures?

I was just wondering why you dont prime, I know you cleansed with acetone but then I have been using young nails protein bond before putting the base coat on. Just wondering if theres a reason? does it work best without anything?
