Your know what will make it better what is fundog at a AI commander for all sides,they will give order to those npc units like that a RTS game, also it really fit into lore the fact all sides in the war take order from AI

Thats a great suggestion, I would love this so much. I played this milsim game called Insurgency and the screams of pain and death sounded so good it was kinda disturbing.

I love how much you love this game. I’m currently on consoles but I’m a slow as hell player and I love scoping shit out regardless of the game I’m playing and taking my time. Last game I took forever either was Elden Ring and I’m currently obsessed with SM2. This gives me that same feeling and spark of imagination you feel when you get consumed by a world. Unrelated but Trench Crusade is something you would probably love, I hope it grows enough to get a video game!

A top down unit command mode would go so hard with these npcs and environments, though that would require the war to have some sort of conclusion with a winner.
